Southend Triathlon - 2017
The Southend triathlon takes place in Thorpebay, Shoeburyness and Wakering in Southend on Sea. The sand and shingle beach of Shoeburyness will host the open water swim, before transitioning to an out and back ride towards Foulness via Wakering, the final stage of the event is a 5km run around the local quiet roads of Shoeburyness.
The course involves an open water parallel sea swim, out and back ride to Foulness and 5km loop to the finish line around quiet roads in Shoeburyness.

Southend Triathlon... Swim Route - 2017
Athletes will leave their belongings at the transition area and walk 750m to the swim start. Bags will be provided to return footwear and clothing to the bag drop off in transition for after the race.
Swimmers will start in waves of 50. A straight swim to the swim finish and transition area.
